Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting with Ambassador of Armenia Oleg Esayan

On May 18 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia in Russia Oleg Esayan, who arrived in Ufa for participation in the international forum “Big Chemistry”, the public affairs service of the President RB reported.
“We are pleased to know from the point of view of business relations that such representative delegation visited our forum and we hope that we also managed to find something for us for further interaction with your business. We think that this cooperation will result in real business relations and it is quite good” – Rustem Khamitov mentioned.
“I’d like to confirm that we continue supporting national diasporas, living on the territory of Bashkortostan. It is principally important for us. We understand that people, living here in Bashkortostan, should enrich their cultural traditions and it is important for us too” – the President RB stated.
Rustem Khamitov has also confirmed he is ready to visit Armenia.
Oleg Esayan thanked the President RB for his invitation to visit “Big Chemistry”.
“We are happy to be for the first time in one of Russian regions not in the format of Ambassador’s visit but as a delegation of Armenia” – the diplomat mentioned – “Our impressions are simply staggering. On the post-Soviet territory such forum is held for the first time beyond the capital of Russia and discussion of chemical-technological direction in development of the country looks really unique” – Oleg Esayan mentioned.
For the reference: in 2011 external trade circulation between Bashkortostan and Armenia amounted to 4,2 million USD. Armenia stands on the 53rd place in the total volume of trade turnover of Bashkortostan and on the tenth place among CIS states. In 2011 Bashkortostan exported industrial equipment, diesel fuel and oils, sodium bicarbonate, glass ampoules, furniture, pipes, glass bottles, mirrors and ferrous metal fittings to this country. In its turn Bashkortostan imported building materials and mineral water from Armenia.
