Plenipotentiary of President of Russia in Volga federal district Michael Babitch has paid a visit to UMPO

Delegation, headed by the Plenipotentiary of the President of Russian Federation in Volga federal district Michael Babitch, has visited JSC “Ufa Engine Plant” (UMPO) today. Engineering-production center, workshops for manufacturing and testing of aviation engines and the center for production of turbine rotors and compressors were the main sites of the visit.

UMPO press-service reports that the director of the plant Alexander Artukhov told Michael Babitch about today’s work of the plant and about its development plants. In particular, UMPO takes part in the project on designing of the fifth-generation aviation engine, manufactures components for the engine PD-14 of the aircraft MC-21 and takes part in the program for production of components for helicopter engines.
