Passenger traffic in airport of Ufa grows
The international airport “Ufa” has summed up its work balance for four months of 2012. The passenger traffic on international directions is increased more than twice, making up 101829 passengers.
The airport’s marketing department reports the substantial increase of air flights is explained by the growth of the number of internal Russian and international flights, by opening of new directions and by appearance of new air carriers, such as “Czech Airlines” and “Fly Dubai”.
As compared with the previous year the number of passengers on Egyptian directions is substantially increased. The number of regular flights to Dubai and charter flights to Thailand also goes up.
According to information of the airport “Ufa” the number of passengers in April 2012 is increased up to 132442 people – by 15% more than for the same period of time in 2011. More than 38% of passengers fall on the international flight sector.
Taking the tendency of passenger traffic growth into account the specialists of the airport believe that by the end of the year the number of passengers will reach about two million. In 2011 the airport has received almost 1,7 million passengers.
