Acting deputy Chairman of Russian Government Igor Sechin arrived in Ufa

The acting deputy Chairman of the Government of Russian Federation Igor Sechin arrived in Ufa on May 14. The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov was meeting him in the airport of Ufa.

Igor Sechin has taken part in the ceremony of laying the first stone in foundation of the joint Russian-French plant for manufacturing of hydrotechnical equipment “ALSTOMRUSHYDROENERGY”, the public affairs service of the President RB reported.

The plant “ALSTOMRUSHYDROENERGY” will be dislocated in Ufimsky region to the right from the highway “Ufa-Airport”. About 100 million euro expected to be invested in its construction. The first output will be manufactured by the plant in 2014 and it will reached planned production capacity in 2016. A techno-park of efficient technologies will be opened on the base of the plant on the area 68 hectares.

The memorandum about cooperation and interaction on development of this project has been signed by JSC “RUSHYDRO”, the Government RB and the state corporation “VNESHECONOMBANK” on February 17, 2011.
