500 participants are expected at the forum “Big Chemistry-2012” in Ufa

About 500 delegates will participate in the international forum “Big Chemistry-2012” and according to the president of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB Uri Pustovgarov the organizers are obliged to restrict the number of the forum’s participants because of the great number of people, wishing to take part in its work.

“Last year we had 350 participants. The forum arouses high stir among Russian regions and foreigners” – he said – “We expect 14 ambassadors and four regional governors, including the President of Tatarstan, governors of Yamal-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi autonomous districts and Tyumen region. 75 reports to different topics will be read out in a whole”.

Besides, heads of the biggest national companies, delegations of foreign states and leading scientists intend to participate in the forum.

Within the frames of the forum several agreements between Bashkortostan and other regions as well as between republican enterprises and foreign companies are expected to be signed. Purveyors of technologies and materials will present investment projects and the newest designs in sphere of oil mining, oil-gas processing and petroleum chemistry.

“Much depends upon development of chemical industry” – Uri Pustovgarov says – “But we have to do much for substantial upsurge of the branch. If we invest 500 billion rubles in development of chemistry on the territory of Bashkiria today, we’ll get the increase of the gross regional product practically by 750 billion rubles in 10-15 years”.
