The most comfortable towns and villages are determined in Bashkiria

The totals of the Republican contest “The most comfortable urban (rural) settlement RB-2011” was summed up. Winners were determined in five categories, depending on population.

The town of Oktyabrsky was called the most comfortable among settlements with population from 70 thousand people. Sterlitamac stands on the second place and Salavat encloses the first three.

Tuimazy is called the best among towns with population from 50 to 70 thousand. Ishimbay and Kumertau go behind.

Utchaly, Yanaul and Ermekeevo are announced the winners in other categories.

Quality and volumes of services for population, architecture and artistic expression of urban and rural site development were the main criteria when determining the winners. The jury also marked such element as preservation of cultural ad natural heritage. Provision of population with life support objects and technical maintenance of these objects also played important role for the choice.
