Volumes of house building in Bashkiria increased by 6,8%

2938 flats have been put into exploitation for the first three months in Bashkiria. The total housing area amounts to 295,3 thousand square meters and this is by 6,8% more than in 2011, Bashkir State Statistics Committee reports.

The lion’s share of housing still falls on individual developers. The share of housing, erected by people at their own expense and with the help of credits, made up 88,4%. Residents have erected 2,4 thousand houses with the total area more than 260 thousand square meters.

139,1 thousand square meters of housing have been put into exploitation in the countryside for three months of 2012. In towns this figure is slightly higher – 156,2 thousand square meters, i.e. 105,7 and 107,8%, as compared with the same period of time in 2011.
