Airliner, flying from Shanghai to Frankfurt, made emergency landing in Ufa

The airliner, flying from Shanghai to Frankfurt, made emergency landing in Ufa because of smoke generation in the salon. Malfunctions of electric wiring have presumably become the main reason of smoke.

Boeing-747 has successfully landed in Ufa airport with 311 passengers onboard. At present time the air company “Lufthansa” is making a decision concerning further actions.

Any information about victims is absent. The airliner is towed off from the runway. Rescue and technical services of the airport are staying in full alert.

At present moment the airport “Ufa” is working in normal mode.
