More than 6000 watthourmeters are installed in Bashkortostan

By the beginning of April 2012 6312 watthourmeters were installed on the territory of 22 regions of Bashkortostan. The press-service of JSC “BASHKIRENERGO” reports that only in February the economic effect, obtained from the use of new watthourmeters in the retail energy market, amounted to 1,2 million rubles. Investments are repaid at the expense of lowering of losses in electrical networks. Conscientious consumers stop paying extra for their undilligent neighbors, earlier taking advantage of free electric energy. In 2012 according to the project for implementation of automated system for commercial electric energy record 20 thousand newest metering units will be installed in the Republic. The total cost of installation works will amount to more than 120 million rubles.
