JSC “BASHNEFT” intends to form an oil-service holding company

The board of “BASHNEFT” directors approved the functional strategy of the company in sphere of management of oil-service companies. In accordance with this strategy the service companies, representing an inseparable part of overall production, will work in the staff of JSC “BASHNEFT” as its 100% daughter companies.

The strategy also presumes that in 2012 “BASHNEFT” will form an oil-service holding company on the base of market-oriented service enterprises, specializing in drilling, well repair, manufacturing of oil-field equipment and in mechanical service in oil mining, capital and road construction and repair.

“BASHNEFT” will acquire services of all service companies exclusively on market conditions and in the course of tenders this oil giant will make equal demands to all companies concerning their technical equipping, professional skills of workers, observation of labor protection rules and rules of industrial security.

In the future the enterprises, included into the staff of the oil-service holding company, will be removed from the company’s staff with the purpose of raising their efficiency and development of competitive environment, thereby meeting the requirements of the worldly recognized sectoral practice.
