Ernst Isaev introduced program “500 farms” to Congress of Russian Milk Producers

Vice-Premier of the Government RB, Minister for agriculture RB Ernst Isaev introduced the Republican goal-oriented program “Development of milk cattle-breeding and increase of milk output: complex modernization of 500 milk farms in Republic of Bashkortostan in 2012-2016” to participants of the III congress of the National Milk Producers Union, held yesterday under the aegis of the Russian Government and Russian Ministry for agriculture in Moscow, the press-service of Ministry for agriculture RB reported.

The Minister for agriculture of Russia Elena Skrynnik, representatives of profiled ministries and agencies, regional authority, profiled committees of both chambers of Russian parliament and Russian regions and milk producers from Russia, Kazakhstan, Byelorussia, Estonia, Moldavia and Ukraine have taken part in work of the congress.

Participants of the congress have analyzed the current and forecasted situation in the milk market of Russia, interaction between milk producers and purveyors and state backing of the milk branch in 2013-2020.
