Delegation of Bashkortostan has visited Netherlands

Delegation RB has taken part in the forum “Nation Branding & Investment Expo-2012” in Netherlands. The deputy Minister for economic development RB Flur Asadullin and director of Trade-Industry Chamber’s external economic relations department Elina Bikkinina presented our Republic in Eindhoven.

“Nation Branding & Investment Expo” is considered one of the biggest world exhibitions, uniting investors and employers from 50 countries, including Belgium, Germany, Argentina, Peru, Kenya and Macedonia, on one site.

Participation of Russian companies in the forum is organized by the Dutch-Russian Foundation, established for development of international relations between Netherlands and CIS states in spheres of education, business, culture and charity. Special attention was paid to enterprises from Volga federal district – one of the most economically powerful Russian territories.

Problems of tourism, agriculture, alternative energy sources, realty, logistics and transport were the main themes, raised at the forum.

The press-service of Trade-Industry Chamber RB reports delegation RB has held several meetings with local businessmen, introduced investment potential of the region and visited several agricultural objects, milk farms and enterprises, specializing in gardening. In the course of negotiations with banks, funds and officials the agreement about visit of one big investor from Netherlands to Bashkortostan is reached.
