Heads of Bashkir municipalities will learn how to attract investments

Heads of Bashkir municipalities will learn how to attract investments to their towns and regions. The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov suggested that such seminars should be organized for them.

“Now the Republic undertakes all measures for improvement of its investment attractiveness, fixes various preferences on taxation at legislative level and organizes presentations of Republican economic potential at federal and regional levels but at municipal level investors often beat their heads against a brick wall” – he stated at today’s meeting of the Public Council for improvement of investment climate under the President RB – “Businessmen often complain of numerous administrative obstacles there”.

The President RB has underscored that heads of local municipalities have to be the most irreconcilable in struggle with bureaucratic obstacles and corruption.

“They are responsible for development of economics and social sphere on their territories and they have to initiate development of investment projects on their lands, not waiting for the same from higher authority”.
