Russian agrarians offer to stimulate companies, participating in training of specialists for agriculture

Participants of the all-Russian agrarian forum, held in Ufa now, offer to include the programs, meant for development of agriculture, into the list of regional programs for development of professional education, financed by federal exchequer. They also offer to provide for economic stimulation of agricultural producers, taking part in training of specialists for agricultural sphere. Besides, they believe it is necessary to take measures for optimization of placement of public contracts for training of specialists for rural territories and for introduction of educational standards of new generation.

At present time more than 320 thousand managers and specialists work in agricultural sphere in Russia. 42% of such specialists have higher education, 45% - secondary professional education and 13% have no professional education. At that 70% of managers of agricultural enterprises have higher education and among chief specialists this index is equal to 61%.

In 2011 Russian higher and secondary professional agrarian education institutions have trained almost 106 thousand specialists, including 62% of graduates with higher education.

Thanks to the goal-oriented contractual training of specialists on the base of three-sided contracts, in accordance with which institutes train specialist of certain qualification and employers have to hire such specialists, more than 36 thousand students are trained today within the frames of such goal-oriented program.

Besides, Russian Ministry for agriculture generalized experience of 83 Russian regions on fixation of young specialists in agrarian sectors of economics. One-time support of young specialists, monthly payments and subsidies for housing acquisition are the main directions of this activity. Housing problems of young specialists are solved through the federal goal-oriented program “Social development of villages till 2013”.
