The List of non-quoted professions for foreigners is widened in Russia

The Ministry for health protection and social development of Russia added new professions to the annual List of professions (specialties, posts) for those foreign citizens, seeking employment in Russia by specialties they have and on which the quotes aren’t spread.

The site of the State Population Employment Service RB reports the list of profesions-2012 is supplemented with the following specialties: welding engineer, designing engineer, electrical engineer, drilling technician, tuning and tests technician and technologist.

The full list includes 41 professions and heads of organizations and technical personnel make up the overwhelming majority.

The expansion of the annual List of profession is explained by the fact that today Russia faces shortage of highly qualified specialists, able to organize new productions at high qualitative level, applying new progressive technologies and working with new, often foreign equipment.
