5670 workers face overdue wages in Bashkiria

As compared with January 1, 2011, the amount of overdue wages at the beginning of 2012 in Bashkiria increased by 28,5%, amounting to 111,5 million rubles.

The Minister for labor and population social protection RB Lenara Ivanova has reported during her press-conference, held by “Bashinform” the day before, that the number of organizations- debtors in the region increased from 27 to 28. The number of workers, which these companies owe money to, increased by 20% at present time – from 4732 to 5670 people.

At that more than a half of arrears fall on 18 companies, found at various stages of bankruptcy. The sum of debts amounts to more than 56 million rubles or more than 50% of the overall arrears.
