Ambassador of Algeria intends to visit Ufa

Official delegation of Algeria, headed by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Algeria in Russia M-r Smile Shergi, expected to arrive in Ufa on official visit the next week.

On January 13 the Ambassador of Algeria will meet with the leadership of the Ufa State Oil Technical University. Here he will negotiate with the leadership of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB and representatives of oil-gas mining companies RB. After that the Ambassador expected to visit the Institute of oil-chemical processing RB and JSC “BURSERVICE”.

The negotiations between our business circles open the ways to joint oil-gas mining and refining and to exchange of specialists. In particular, the parties will negotiate the problems of interaction between Bashkir enterprises and the Algerian state oil company “SONATRACH”, the press-service of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB reports.

The first meeting of Republican business circles with the Ambassador of Algeria has taken place in Moscow at the end of 2011 and prospects in development of mutually beneficial cooperation in sphere of oil mining and oil refining were under discussion there.

In the course of negotiations with the diplomat from Algeria the parties have reached an agreement concerning exchange of specialists of oil-gas complex with the purpose of detailed acquaintance with production and scientific potential at profiled enterprises. Thus, the Algerian party will receive the consortium of Bashkir enterprises, taking part in the biggest oil-gas exhibition in the town of Hassi Messaoud in March 5-12. 2012. In accordance with the results of Bashkortostan’s economic potential presentation the Ambassador suggested that the prospects of long-term cooperation at the regional level – between Bashkortostan and one of the oil-bearing regions of Algeria should be considered.
