Bashkir bee-keepers are ready to hold all-Russian congress

Bashkir bee-keepers came out for holding the all-Russian congress of bee-keepers in Bashkiria. The Bashkir scientific-research center for bee-keeping and apitherapy prepares the corresponding appeal to the Russian and Bashkir Ministries for agriculture. “This congress has to be held only in Bashkortostan” – the director of the Bashkir scientific-research center for bee-keeping and apitherapy Amir Ishemgulov stated.

2011 turned out to be quite successful for Bashkir bee-keepers. According to official statistics Bashkir agrarians have received more than 5300kg of commodity honey.

State backing has favorably affected activity of Bashkir bee-keepers. “For the first time in the history of Republican bee-keeping Bashkir bee-keepers have received subsidies for development in 2011” – Amir Ishemgulov mentioned – “more than 24 million rubles from federal and republican budgets. About four thousand Bashkir bee-keepers have received 620 rubles each for keeping of every bee family”.

In 2012 about 35 million rubles will be appropriated for state support of bee-keeping in the region within the frames of the agreement between the Government RB and Russian Ministry for agriculture. The program is meant for three years and it will let develop bee-keeping as one of the branches of economics and at the same time will support farmers and owners of private auxiliary farmings.
