Reconstruction of old building is going on at Ufa’s railway station

Reconstruction of the second floor of the old building started at the Ufa’s railway station and in this connection ticket offices will be shifted to the second floor. The railway station’s director Oleg Migunov reports the equipment for ticket sales is being assembled and installed in the waiting lounge now.

The restaurant on the first floor is already closed and the transport police precinct, the medical point and the station’s cloak-room will be relocated soon. After the end of the repair works the entrance to the new building with the dome will be opened.

Oleg Migunov has also reported that facing of the building’s façade from the side of the platform will be completed this year and the first stage of the railway station’s reconstruction will be finished with putting this building into order. After that the builders have to begin construction of one more wing, adjacent to the central building but the leadership of the railway station isn’t yet ready to say when exactly it has to start.
