Sergey Afonin: “For housing cheapening we have to build more”

“In order to make housing cheaper we have to build more” – the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB, the Minister fir housing and communal services RB Sergey Afonin has said during his last online conference on the site of “The Public Electronic Newspaper”. According to him it is necessary to make all conditions, related to engineering communications and preparation of the building sites, for that.

“Building quality has to be on the first place” – the Minister said – “Republic actively develops construction of economic-class housing now. At present time there are 60-70 thousand people in Bashkiria, who need flats. We’ve worked up corresponding legislative base and passed the law about free allocation of land lots but the work in this direction should be intensified”.

23,5 thousand flats with total area more than 2,1 million square meters have been put into exploitation in Bashkortostan in 2011 – by 5,1% more than in 2010. In 2011 it is planned to erect 2,3 million square meters.
