Trade-Industry Chamber RB determined concept of “Big Chemistry”

The II international forum “Big Chemistry” will be held in Ufa on May 17-19, the Trade-Industry Chamber RB reports. The questions, how to give an impetus to further development of the chemical branch so that finally the Republic gets VAT, taxes and new workplaces, will become the key ones at the forum.

“If provision of chemical enterprises with stuff was the main aim at the previous forum and we were discussing this problem there, innovational development will become the key theme this year” – the president of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB Uri Pustovgarov says – “We will talk about new technologies and new technological processes. The oil-gas-chemical complex of Volga zone is considered the most developed and competent in Russia and development of the country in many respects depends upon development of this complex”.

If we start determining the level of economic prosperity by the number of chemical products, manufactured per 1000 citizens, the well-developed European countries outstrip Russian regions 2-3 times in this sphere.

“If we supply them with stuff and final products, it means that finally we supply Europe with money, VAT, taxes and those workplaces, which might have appeared here” – Uri Pustovgarov mentioned.

About 300 top managers of Russian and foreign companies will become the participants of the chemical forum this year together with the representatives of Russian Government and Russian Presidential Administration.

During two days in May 2012 the leaders of the chemical branch will be discussing the main problems and directions in development of oil-gas-chemistry in Bashkiria and Russia and the main tendencies of the global chemical market.

Representatives of chemical companies will tell about their investment projects till 2030 and will introduce the newest achievements in oil-gas-chemical sphere.

The forum is organized by the Government RB, the Ministry for economic development RB, the Trade-Industry Chamber RB and the Academy of Sciences RB.
