Federal budget will help technical rearmament at UPPO

Modernization of production is going on at the Republican defense-industrial enterprises. Thus, in 2011 within the frames of state support for defense enterprises the Russian Government has appropriated a subsidy at the rate of more than 300 million rubles to the Ufa’s instrument-making production association (UPPO). The enterprise has spent 125 million rubles for reconstruction and technical rearmament. The acquisition of modern equipment will help UPPO to implement new progressive technologies, including high-precision machining processing of details, the technology of surface mounting, manufacturing of the V-class printed circuits and laser metal cutting.

The works for technical rearmament will be continued in 2012. The intakes from the federal exchequer are expected at the rate of 65 million rubles. This money will be spent for completion of the modernization program of machining production, the press-service of UPPO reported.
