Almost 1,5 billion rubles will be spent for GLONASS in Bashkortostan

Almost 1,5 billion rubles will be spent for implementation of GLONASS technologies in Bashkortostan during nearest four years. As the news agency “Bashinform” reported earlier, the goal-oriented program “Implementation of GLONASS satellite navigation technologies in the interests of social-economic development RB in 2012-2015” is approved by the Republican Government.

‘The volume of the program’s financing will exceed 1,496 billion rubles, including the means of the Republican budget at the rate of 442,4 million” – the press-service of the Government RB reports.

Within the frames of the program about 80% of the Republican transport, including the vehicles of special services – police, emergencies and ambulance, will be equipped with GLONASS systems.

Almost 80% of the republican territory will be covered with the GLONASS base stations for execution of building, land-surveying and cadastral works.
