Several modern refuse dumps will be opened in Bashkiria in 2012

The appearance of modern refuse dump in the town of Ishimbay and construction of a similar object in Ufimsky region have become the first results of the Republican goal-oriented program “The system of control over solid domestic waste in Bashkortostan in 2011-2020”, launched in autumn 2011. The last object will be put into exploitation already in 2012 and Republican budget allocated 25 million rubles for that.

“Construction of the refuse dumps, meeting all modern requirements, will be continued in Bashkortostan in 2012. Thus, now we are starting construction of a big refuse dump near the town of Sibay and the total volume of means, allocated from the republican and the municipal budgets, will amount to 160 million rubles. Other nine million is required for construction of a refuse dump in Chekmagushevsky region RB and 100 million will be spent for reconstruction of a similar object in Belebey. All objects are erected on the terms of co-funding” – the deputy Minister for nature management and ecology RB Elena Shekina reported today.
