Ufa State Academy of economics and service will share its experience on development of available tourism in Moscow

The international conference “Science, Education, Society – to Development of Available Tourism” will be held within the frames of the VII international tourist exhibition “INTOURMARKET-2012”. The exhibition will be held in Moscow on March 17-20 and the Ufa State Academy of economics and service is one of the organizers of this exhibition. The Academy is the only institute in Russia – the member of “The European Available Tourism Network” (ENAT). The representatives of the Academy have told about it during the press-conference, held by the news agency “Bashinform”. The Academy has offered the idea to hold such conference within the frames of the exhibition and the Russian Ministry for sport, tourism and youth policy, the Association of National Tourist Offices in Russia, the Association of Tourist Operators of Russia and the company “EXPOTOUR” are the official organizers of the conference and the exhibition.

“Available tourism means tourism for all” – the pro-rector of the Ufa State Academy of economics and service for international relations and grants Viktor Krymsky stated – “At that there is no an equal sign between social tourism and available tourism (according to ENAT formulation). This kind of tourism is meant first of all for people with restricted health abilities”.

At present time available tourism is considered one of the most promising directions of tourist industry in the world. People with disabilities make up about 11% of all tourist travels in Europe and more than 7% in the world. As a rule, such people travel, accompanied by relatives and friends. But Russia still has no conditions for development of mass available tourism.

It is worth noting that the Ufa State Academy of economics and service jointly with the charity fund by V.L. Zasov and several Republican tourist companies already accumulated rather substantial practical experience on available tourism (drafting, equestrian routes etc). Now it is ready to share this experience in Moscow.
