Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting with the President of JSC “GASPROM” Alexei Miller

On January 17 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting with the President of JSC “GASPROM” Alexei Miller in Moscow. The public affairs service of the President RB reports the problems of gas deliveries for Bashkortostan, establishment of the all-Russian gas chemistry center in the Republic with techno-park on the base of the enterprise “GASPROM NEFTEHIM SALAVAT”, gasification of settlements, participation of the company in various sports arrangements and social responsibility were under discussion in the course of the meeting. Talking to journalists about work activity of “GASPROM” in Bashkortostan in 2011 after the end of the meeting Rustem Khamitov has underscored that “very good results were achieved”.

“Gas deliveries for the Republic were increased, reaching almost 17 billion cubic meters. This is the best result for the last 18 years and it means that the industry of Bashkortostan and its power engineering are found on the rise and the growth of industrial production is going on” – the President RB said.

As for establishment of a techno-park in the town of Salavat, the President RB said that “today we already started making this very important for us project a reality and “GASPROM” will definitely support this idea”.

The problems, concerned with establishment of a gas chemistry center at JSC “GASPROM NEFTEHIM SALAVAT” were also discussed. “We’ve discussed the problems of gas deliveries and now searching for the variants to develop real production in Salavat and I think that in several years we’ll watch the real output of the plans we outlined for today”.

Rustem Khamitov has mentioned that the work plans with “GASPROM” are quite good and this company will allocate the unprecedented sum at 300 million rubles for continuation of gasification to Bashkortostan in 2012.

“In 2011 we’ve received 70 million rubles. Our successful activity in sphere of gasification of Bashkir settlements demonstrated high potential RB in advancement of this process, so the company raised the sum up to 300 million. During three-five years we have to complete gasification of rural settlements in Bashkortostan” – the President RB stated.
