Winners of the youth contest of business projects are rewarded with grants in Bashkiria

The Ministry for youth policy and sport RB determined the winners of the Republican contest of youth business projects and ideas “Youth Project-2011”.

In December 2011 the jury was evaluating the projects of the contest’s participants. The staff of the jury included representatives of the Ministry for youth policy and sport RB, the Ministry for economic development RB, the state business undertakings and tourism committee RB, the Governmental Machinery RB, the Business Organizations Association RB and the Center for cluster development and strategic planning.

Small companies and individual businessmen at the age under 30 were taking part in the contest. The business projects and ideas should meet the following requirements: the maximal repayment term – not more than 18 months and 24 months in case of leasing. The own means of the companies and businessmen should make up about 30% of the total cost of the projects offered. More than 70 projects have been introduced to the jury – mainly the projects, dealt with food production, cattle-breeding,

ecology and leisure activity.

15 young businessmen have become the finalists of the contest in the nomination “The best youth business project” and other five have won the nomination “Youth business idea”.

For the victory in the nomination “The best youth business project” the winners receive the grants at the rate of 150 thousand rubles for development and for the best business idea – 50 thousand rubles for every winner.
