New 500-ruble bonds are delivered for Bashkiria

The 500-ruble bonds of a new modification are delivered for Bashkiria, the press-service of the National Bank RB reported to the news agency “Bashinform” today. The matter is the modified bonds of 1997, issued by the Central Bank of Russia in September 2011. The 5000-ruble bond was also changed along with the 500-ruble one. The last one hasn’t yet been registered on the territory of the Republic.

The format and the design of the modified bonds practically remain the same but the color and the decoration were slightly changed. Thus, the red tint of the modified 500-ruble bond is not as intense as on the previous modification-2004. The protective stripe on the left side of the bond’s face changed the color and became wider.

The tints of the 5000-ruble bond became more saturated and the emblem of Khabarovsk is green and not red as on the previous version, issued in 2006. The multicolored stripe on the back side acquired a new tint too.

Both bonds have high level of protection – watermarks, the protective thread, slightly sticking out, the repeated images of the number 500, where every figure has its own color, etc.

The Central Bank of Russia modifies the bonds every five-seven years mainly for struggle with counterfeiting.
