Ufa won international contest "The best city of CIS and Eurasian Economic Community"

The capital of Bashkortostan is called the winner of the IV international contest "The best city of CIS and Eurasian Economic Community" in six nominations.

The flower ceremony has taken place in Moscow within the frames of the III international forum "Megapolis: the XXI century: spacious development of cities: realities and prospects". The contest was initiated by the International Assembly of capitals and big cities "MAG". It is held in interaction with the Russian Ministry for regional development, the CIS Executive Committee, the Eurasian Economic Community Integration Committee and the all-Russian local self-government council.

The essence of the contest is demonstration of concrete positive examples on solution of typical urban problems. 35 cities from Russia, Kazakhstan ,Ukraine and other CIS states participated in the contest in 2011.
