"ALSTOM RUSHYDRO ENERGY" introduced new intellectual product

The multipurpose diagnostics complex for monitoring and safety of equipment at electric stations was presented today, December 22, by the new joint-venture "ALSTOM RUSHYDRO ENERGY", registered on the territory of Bashkortostan on December 20.
The companies "ALSTOM" and "RUSHYDRO" develop the project on construction of the plant for production of modern hydrotechnical equipment in Bashkiria. The plant will be found in the staff of the techno-park of energy-technical technologies. According to the contract, signed in December 2010 in the presence of the Prime-Ministers of Russia and France, the joint-venture has to introduce its first product already in 2011. Today this product was presented by the plenipotentiary of "RUSHYDRO" Alexander Kushvid. As the main resident of the new techno-park, he demonstrated the new intellectual product - the automatic control system for diagnostics and monitoring of rotating equipment at electric stations. The new equipment is called to raise reliability and safety of many electric stations and the main goal is ensuring of security, diagnostics and correct planning of repair works as well as lowering of the so-called human factor.
The first stone of the new techno-park will be laid the next spring.
"The idea was formed more than one year ago. Today we are watching the first results" - the Vice-Premier of the Government RB, the Minister of industry and innovational policy RB Marat Mulukov said - "The first stone of a new enterprise will be laid soon and the company "ALSTOM" will become its main resident. Several other enterprises for production of energy-efficient equipment will be established around it".
Construction of the plant will be over in 2013 and the enterprise will reach full project capacity in 2016.
According to Alexander Kushvid about 500 people will work at the plant. The amount of investments is more than 100 million euro. The project already has stable initial sales - the series of Kuban hydroelectric stations.
The company "RUSHYDRO" owns 51% of the joint-venture's shares and "ALSTOM" - 49%. The structure of the joint-venture is such that management and operational control are found within the competence of "ALSTOM", taking the giant experience of this company on construction of such plants into account. The French company should introduce those standards and competences, which Russia really needs today.
