Prime-Minister of the Government RB: "Establishment of "United Chemical Company" will let us receive one of the biggest players in the global market"

The principal decision concerning establishment of the united chemical company, consisting of JSC "Soda", JSC "Caustic" and Bereznikovsky chemical plant, is reached, the Prime-Minister of the Government of Bashkortostan Azamat Ilimbetov reported in the course of today's online conference, held on the site of "The Public Electronic Newspaper".

"As a result of establishment of the "United Chemical Company" we will receive one of the biggest players in the world soda market, able to compete with the world companies" - Azamat Ilimbetov reported - "At present time this market faces serious competition and many companies are merged by the biggest and often unfriendly world companies, first of all American and Belgian. Two of three soda plants are closed in Ukraine and six of five in Latin America. We understand that only uniting we can compete with such global producers on equal terms".

In this case Bashkortostan can attract investments, raising the resources of all plants, found in the staff of the united chemical company, since they have much common both on energy resources and on infrastructure. According to M-r Ilimbetov more than 30 billion rubles will be invested to development of these three enterprises during six years and especially serious changes are expected at "Caustic", where the output of polyvinylchloride is expected to be raised from 200 to 350 thousand tons per year and in the future - up to 500-600 thousand tons.
