Trade-Industry Chamber RB and Finnish-Russian Trade Chamber signed a cooperation agreement

Bashkortostan and Finland signed an agreement of cooperation today. The document is signed in Ufa by the president of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB Uri Pustovgarov and by the director of the department of international business of the Finnish-Russian Trade Chamber Yana Rekolain.

This agreement opens wide prospects for further interaction between Bashkiria and Finland.

“We have a chance to combine the great potential of Bashkortostan and Finnish business, making a breakthrough in new and not yet investigated directions” - Uri Pustovgarov mentioned at the solemn ceremony.

Earlier, taking the floor at the meeting of the Finnish-Bashkir workgroup for trade-economic, cultural and scientific cooperation, after which the agreement was signed, he suggested that so-called “tour in search for new technologies” should be regarded as a separate direction. In his opinion the business undertakings in Bashkortostan mainly represent trade and the sphere of services but gradually the structure of small and medium business is changing towards development of real production, so new technologies will meet high demand in the Republic.

The Finnish party has met this proposal with approval. The representatives of Finnish business say they are ready to share their technologies in sphere of power engineering, ecology, timber industry and in the sphere of production of so-called “clever machines”.
