JSC “POLYEF” will have its own management company

The special general gathering will take place at JSC “POLYEF” today and the shareholders intend to discuss the problem concerning the pre-term stopping of powers of the company's general director.

JSC “POLYEF”, located in the town of Blagoveshensk, Bashkortostan, is the only producer of terephthalic acid in Russia and the company “Domestic Polymers” is the main shareholder of the enterprise, owning 64,5% of its authorized capital stock (50% + one share belongs to the management company “SIBUR”)

The management company “SIBUR PETF” (the former name is the company “Domestic Polymers”) is a daughter company of JSC “SIBUR-HOLDING” and a shareholder of JSC “POLYEF”.

In opinion of the shareholders the forthcoming transition of the polyester business enterprises under the single management is caused by the necessity to conduct a common production-technical, financial, pricing and sales policy at the enterprises, engaged in the polyester business
