Delegation of Bangladesh visited Trade-Industry Chamber of Bashkortostan

The delegation of Bangladesh visited the Trade-Industry Chamber of Bashkortostan. The delegation arrived in the Republic with the purpose to discuss the possibility of deliveries of Bashkir wheat for this country at acceptable prices. Besides, the delegation intends to search other spheres of cooperation on export of textile, sea products, leather and jute wares, in production of which Bangladesh holds leading positions in the world.
As the members of the Bangladesh delegation reported, about 165 million people live on the territory, comparable with the Bashkir one. Bangladesh holds the second place in the world after China by export. In the sum it amounts to 18 billion dollars and at that 78% of this sum fall on deliveries of clothes, manufactured in Bangladesh. Business circles of this country started displaying special interest in the Bashkir market on the eve of Russia's joining WTO, when many export barriers disappear.
The vice-president of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB Azat Fazlyev has mentioned that some sunflower crops, cultivated in Bashkortostan, can become interesting for the guests, since these crops have low self-cost and very suitable for cultivation. Thanks to its multifunctionality this crop can be used not just as a food but also for production of bio-fuel and paintwork. Three months ago the first lots of this crop have been exported to Europe. Azat Fazlyev also invited the guests to take part in local textile exhibitions, very popular here, and to take an active part in various business and cultural missions, organized by the Representative Office of Bashkortostan in Moscow.
This is already the second visit of Bangladesh delegation to Ufa. The delegation has also visited the leading institutes of the city, the Ministry for agriculture RB and the Ufa Scientific Center under the Russian Academy of Sciences, the press-service of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB reported.
