Bashkortostan and Magnitogorsk are interested in decentralization of business

Cooperation of Bashkortostan and Chelyabinsk region will get a new impulse for development and will reach the level of neighboring municipal formations. This is the main result of the visit of Bashkir business circles to the city of Magnitogorsk, which has taken place last week.

Within the frames of the visit the cooperation agreements between the Trade-Industry Chamber RB and the Trade-Industry Chamber of Magnitogorsk and between the Trade-Industry Chamber RB and the State Technical University of Magnitogorsk were signed and widening of trade-economic relations between two regions and searching for new partners for Bashkir enterprises were the key goal of the visit.

As the President of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB Uri Pustovgarov mentioned during the “round table” in Magnitogorsk, the decision to hold a business meeting for business circles of Bashkortostan and Magnitogorsk was reached one year ago.

“There are many ideas and projects, interesting for both parties, so we have to form the special work groups, making our mutual ideas a reality” - he said.

The participants of the meeting agreed that today business reluctantly went in production, preferring to follow the simple scheme “to buy, to raise and to sell again”.

“In order business starts go in for production, it should be helped and not with the help of money and numerous start-ups, as it was before, but with the help of the corresponding infrastructure. We've revised the empty capacities in the Republic and managed to find about two million square meters of not used areas. Such areas should be given to businessmen on preferential terms” – Uri Pustovgarov believes.

“Legislation, comfortable for business and business, socially responsible towards society” - these are the basic principles, announced by the vice-speaker of the Bashkir parliament Lilia Gumerova during her report. She has mentioned in her speech that Bashkir legislation optimizes the process of the use of state and municipal property.

“The efficiency in attraction of investments to the Republic is directly connected with passing of new laws, including the laws about state and private partnership and about innovational activity”-she said.

The press-service of the Trade-Industry Chamber reports that the main outcome, the participants of the “round table” reached, is the necessity of so-called decentralization for development of business. Other words, municipalities should become the participants of business activation.

“If it is necessary, trade-industry chamber can head any project in order to make business ideas a reality” - Uri Pustovgarov stated.

According to the vice-president of the Trade-Industry Chamber RB Paul Barmin the agreement between two trade-industry chambers presumes closer cooperation between business of Bashkortostan and Magnitogorsk.

“We see good prospects for development of various business directions in the municipalities, located close to Magnitogorsk – these are Beloretsky and Abzelilovsky regions, Sibay and a part of Burziansky region” - Paul Barmin said - “For example, if we are talking about the town of Beloretsk, we would be interested first of all in establishment of self-dependent and not directly connected with the local metallurgical plant hardware productions and private enterprises”.
