Rustem Khamitov inspected the Ufa's enterprise “STEKLONIT”

On December 6 the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has visited JSC “STEKLONIT”, specializing in production of glass fiber and glass fiber wares and of various geosynthetic materials, used in hydrotechnical and road building, oil-gas mining, machine building, shipbuilding, construction of railways, in housing and communal services and other spheres.

The public affairs service of the President RB reports in the course of the visit the President RB became acquainted with one of the innovational designs of the enterprise – a bridgework model, made of polymeric materials. This is a new company's product, which can become a mass architectural solution when erecting the passages across rivers and streets. The company intends to launch this ware in serial production.

“The first such bridge has to be erected in Bashkortostan” - Rustem Khamitov stated.

After that the President RB inspected the mobile reusable road coating, representing the coarse-grain plates, made of light composite material. This coating can stand the load up to 80 tons and can be used in bad road conditions and for construction of trail and bypass roads. Rustem Khamitov suggested the leadership of the company that it should think over the variants of the use of this coating in Bashkortostan, for example for repairing of rural roads.

Further the President of Bashkortostan visited the weaving workshop and watched the process of production of multi-axial cloths, used in production of heat-insulating and roofing materials. The head of the Republic also visited the plant's exhibition and held a meeting with the leadership of “STEKLONIT”. In the course of the meeting Rustem Khamitov was interested what was the share of the plant's output for road building in the overall production volume. As it turned out, this showing makes up 40%.

The model of the pedestrian bridge, made of composite materials, was also demonstrated at the meeting. The President RB mentioned that such easy mountable constructions can be used on the complicated road sectors, where it was necessary to erect junctions. “Your bridges are much cheaper that the reinforced concrete structures, so you have all chances to seize this niche” - Rustem Khamitov summed up the conversation.
