Bashkiria will produce more pork

The agricultural holding company “RAZGULAY” launches the project for construction of modern meat processing centers in three regions of Bashkortostan, the press-service of the Ministry of agriculture RB reports. The aggregate annual capacity is 70 thousand tons of pork in live weight. Specialists estimate the cost of this investment project at more than 13 billion rubles.

The agricultural holding company “EXIMA” also starts developing hog breeding in the region and intends to open a modern selection-hybrid hog breeding center in the Republic. For making this project a reality the company intends to attract about one billion rubles of investments. It is planned to breed about 10 thousand pedigree pigs and 25 thousand commercial pigs annually. It means about three thousand tons of pork in live weight.
