The list of zones for territorial development to be formed in Russia

The northeast of Bashkortostan can be included into the list of the zones for territorial development of Russia, the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB, the head of the Bashkir Government's Machinery Ilshat Tajitdinov reported today. The bill concerning formation of such zones has already passed the second reading by the State Duma.

“The bill concerns some separate territories in Russian Federation. The list of such regions will be considered and approved by the Russian Government. The zone can be located on the territory of several municipal formations” - Ilshat Tajitdinov reported to the participants of the coordination council, headed by him and formed within the frames of the middle-term complex program for social development of the northeastern regions RB in 2011-2015.

Presupposing that such law can be passed, he urged his colleagues to activate the work with the federal center in order to be included into this list.

“Such inclusion means budget appropriations from the Russian Investment Fund, new objects of infrastructure, tax benefits and investment tax credits” - he underscored.

As the news agency “Bashinform” reported earlier, the program for development of the northeast of Bashkortostan was approved in November 2011. This is the second similar program in the Republic. The program for development of the trans-Ural zone was the first. Approved still in August 2010, this program proved vitality and efficiency of a new approach to the spacious development of the region.
