Investors were prompted where they'd better invest in
Several big investment projects, with the help of which Bashkir authorities intended to raise the level of life in the northeastern regions of the Republic, were announced by the Government RB at the meeting of the coordination council for development of the sub-region.
The first deputy Minister of industry and innovational policy RB Igor Karepanov called three top priority industrial projects for this sub-region: the plant for production of medium density fiberboard plates in Salavatsky region RB, the plant for production of cranes in Nurimanovsky region and the water-engineering system on the borderline of Askinsky and Karaidelsky regions.
The deputy Minister reminded of two republican laws,coming into force on January 1, 2012, and which were called to make the work of the future investors simpler: the law concerning setting of the low tax rate for the corporate income tax for the organizations and enterprises, providing for the investment activity on the territory of Bashkortostan in the form of the capital investments (the tax rate is set at the rate of 13,5% under the basic rate at 18%) for the period of time from one to five years – depending upon the volumes of investments and the law, anticipating the exemption from the corporate property tax for the period from one to five years, again depending upon the volumes of investments.
As for the Republican agriculture, the first deputy Minister of agriculture RB Nikolai Kovalenko called development of milk and meat cattle-breeding, horse breeding and bee-keeping, taking the natural peculiarities of the sub-region into account, the most promising business. In the crop sector the focus will be made on cultivation of spring grain crops, potato and fodder crops cultivation.
Development of tourism in the northeast of Bashkiria can also become very profitable business thanks to the aboriginal beauty of local territories and very favorable ecology. The chairman of the state business undertakings and tourism committee RB Ruslan Kinzikeev says the first step in this direction is already made. Bashkortostan is included into the federal goal-oriented program for development of tourism in Russia in 2011-2018. Within the frames of this program four tourist clusters will be under development in the Republic and one of these clusters is conventionally called “The northeast”.
