Medical examination today means health in the future

More than 400 citizens of Ufa have passed free medical examination, initiated by the volunteer center under the Bashkir State Medical University with the assistance of four Ufa health centers and the company “Megaphone”.

During the last weekends any person might check the state of his health free and without preliminary registration. All people were examined by the specialists of the Bashkir State Medical University – neurologist, urologist, breast physician and therapist. Besides, people might make blood analysis, electrocardiogram and electroencephalogram, check weight and height and the showings of water-salt and lipid exchange with the help of modern equipment free.

“We intend to make such medical examinations for population once in quarter, every time attracting medics of different profiles” - the head of the volunteer center under the Bashkir State Medical University Alina Trusova reported.

For the first time such action was held in May during the celebration of “1000 days till the Olympic Games in Sochi-2014” and that time more than 300 citizens of Ufa have checked their health.
