Rustem Khamitov congratulated agrarians with their professional holiday

“The Day of agriculture and processing industry worker is not just one of the regular sectoral holidays” - the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov said at the solemn meeting, devoted to the professional holiday of agrarians - “Today the Republic honors all those, whose labor in all times was one of the most demanded and vitally important for people”.

Rustem Khamitov told about the key showings of the ongoing agricultural year and underscored that by many indices our Republic was one of the first in the country. Bashkortostan leads by production of milk, honey, kumis, horse and cattle livestock. Thanks to high quality of the foods, made in Bashkiria Bashkir sugar and flour, cereals and vegetable oil became the real brands.

“ It is important that by the food security we have stable margin of safety, fully providing for ourselves with grain, potato, vegetables and seeds” - the President RB mentioned.

At the solemn meeting, devoted to the professional agrarian holiday, the state awards have been presented to the best pacemakers.
