Airport “Ufa” is preparing for meeting the 1,5-millionth passenger

The international airport “Ufa” is preparing for meeting the 1,5-millionth passenger since the beginning of the year on Friday. Only three months ago the airport honored the millionth passenger – a native of Bashkiria Oleg Dubinin, flying the route Ufa-Moscow. In 2009 the airport has served 1,2 million passengers and in 2010 – 1,5 million. Everyday the airport meets more than six thousand people.

It is worth mentioning that the international airport “Ufa” is one of the biggest transport and logistic centers and for today it is found in the Top 10 of the leading Russian airports. This is the modern aviation center, able to receive airliners of all types, it is certified by the ICAO category. More than 40 Russian and foreign air companies use the services of the airport. The airport has two airstrips 2500 and 3700 meters at length. The air terminal, consisting of two sub-terminals, has the carrying capacity 800 passengers per hour.
