Traditional all-Russian bank conference for standards to be held in Ufa in March 2012

Standards for crediting of small and medium business and financing of the housing market will become the key subjects at the VII scientific-practical conference “Banks, Processes, Standards, Quality”, so the program for this all-Russian bank forum, traditionally held in Bashkiria, was approved at the gathering of the coordination committee of the Association of Russian banks for standards of bank activity quality.

The chairman of the National Bank RB Rustem Mardanov was also taking part in the gathering, the press-service of the National bank RB reported and mentioned that the key aim of the future forum would be elaboration of the proposals for further rise of the quality in activity of the Russian banks through correction of already available and approval of new standards.

The problems of self-regulation in the bank sphere on the base of the quality standards, establishment of the system for voluntary certification and the prospects in application of the bank quality standards by rating agencies and supervisory boards will be also under discussion at the forum. The forum will be held in Ufa on March 22-23, 2012, and along with the bankers the representatives of the authority, supervisory boards and specialists of scientific, audit and consulting companies will take part in its work.
