Municipal land control to be strengthened in Bashkortostan

The problem of not enough development of the land market on the territory of Bashkortostan is considered one of the key challenges for the Concept of land and property relations in the Republic, the Minister for land and property relations RB Ulay Ilyasov said during the last scientific-practical conference “Land and property relations in Russian Federation, Republic of Bashkortostan: the 20-year experience and prospects”.

According to the Minister the legal status of practically 95% of all lands in Bashkortostan is determined not precisely and this fact leads to cutting of investment attractiveness of these lands. In order to put them into circulation, the lands need more exact legal provision, which would take different consumer properties into account, special legal status and special economical mode for these lands.

Strengthening of the municipal control over these lands is one of many challenges, standing before the Concept, since the practice shows that its weakening results in the growth of the number of violations of the law in sphere of land relations.

“We have to improve our legislation in sphere of use and protection of land resources, land circulation and protection of personal and corporate rights for the lands” - the Minister mentioned - “Besides, we have to revise all legal land acts in local municipalities. In parallel we will make a unified information space, including the infrastructure of the spacious data in the form of electronic topographic maps and layouts of the territory RB”.
