More than 100 e-services will be available in Bashkortostan in 2012

The problems with implementation of public services in electronic format were discussed by the Government of Bashkortostan today. The meeting of the inter-departmental commission for development of IT was headed by the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB, the Minister for industry and innovational policy RB Marat Mulukov.
The Minister for communication and mass communications RB Boris Melkoedov made the main report. He has reminded that July, 2012, is considered the starting point for formation of “e-government” and by this date the Russian regions have to set the inter-departmental interaction between the authority and local-self government. The transition to rendering of public services in fully electronic format will be occurring gradually in the course of 2012-2014.
As M-r Melkoedov mentioned, some e-services are available for the citizens of Bashkortostan already now. Thus, 15 e-services are already successfully used within the frames of the project “Social Card RB”. Thanks to the work of the portal of e-services citizens RB may get the information about various public services and download the forms of the documents, for example.
The leadership RB intends to increase the number of e-services up to 100 in 2012 and up to at least 200 in 2013 but for that it is necessary to start training of the specialists in IT sphere. As the rector of the Ufa State Aviation Technical University Murat Guzairov reported, the Republican institutes are able to meet the needs in qualified personnel already today and only the Aviation University trains more than four thousand students in this high-tech sphere at present time.
