Eugene Mavrin: “The number of businessmen in Bashkortostan has to increase”

About 200 thousand people work in sphere of small and medium business in Bashkortostan and this figure remains stable in the course of last several years. Somebody leaves and somebody else starts own business. But it is quite clear that the number of business people in Bashkiria has to grow, the Minister for economic development RB Eugene Mavrin stated today during the online conference on the site of “The Public Electronic Newspaper”.

“The aim, general for Russia, is to reach 60%- population occupation in sphere of small and medium business by 2020” - the Minister said - “And as applied to Bashkiria it will be approximately 800 thousand people. This is a serious challenge of time for us, which we have to overcome”.

In opinion of Eugene Mavrin the number of documents, necessary for business registration, is still high. But he also marked the actuality of state backing on the start-up stage and some other measures. The Minister advises young businessmen “ to search for the market, minimally regulated by the state”, such as hotel and restaurant business and off-road service.

“We discuss the problems of small business jointly with the colleagues from the state business undertakings and tourism committee RB” - he reported - “And the future development of the country is directly connected with the solution of these problems”.
