Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting for further modernization of housing and communal services

Efficiency of financing in sphere of housing and communal services, further modernization of this branch and tariff regulation were the main topics at the last gathering of the Government RB, held by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov. The chairman of the Russian Accounts Chamber Sergey Stepashin and the chairman of the State Duma committee for civil, criminal, arbitrary and remedial legislation Paul Krasheninnikov were taken part in the gathering too.

Putting of housing and communal services in order, reforming of the branch and legal regulation in this sphere have special importance and always found in the focus of attention. In Bashkortostan this subject is found under close control and certain success is already to the fore.

“The situation in sphere of housing and communal services demands continuation of modernization” - the President RB underscored - “About one million square meters of housing in Bashkortostan belong to the category of dilapidated dwelling. The dwelling, which needs capital repair, is estimated at 22 million square meters, i.e. practically every fourth square meter of the Bashkir housing fund”.

The tear and wear in the region amounts to 60% and reaches 80% in the country on average. Without efficient steps one can face the splash of emergency situations on the housing and communal objects in the nearest years.

The President RB raised the problem of funding efficiency in the branch, since dozens billion rubles are circulated in this sphere only in Bashkortostan.

“It is clear that the efficiency in the use of these resources is extremely low” - Rustem Khamitov mentioned - “We put this branch in order and will continue doing it in the future”.

The President RB mentioned that people themselves had to start working over reformation of the branch, for example, with the help of the project “Community Committee”. At present time 8 thousand community committees in tenement buildings are already established. Their chairmen have passed special training and the first specialists with diplomas already work in this sphere.
