Rustem Khamitov and Sergey Stepashin have inspected repaired tenement buildings

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the chairman of the Russian Accounts Chamber Sergey Stepashin, found on a visit in Bashkortostan, have inspected several capitally repaired tenement buildings in Ufa today The repair of these buildings has become possible thanks to the means, allocated to the Republic by the Fund for assistance to housing and communal services reforming.
As Rustem Khamitov said, there are still too many houses in the Republic, which need capital repair, but certain positive moves in this direction are to the fore. “We are gradually moving out of this uneasy situation” - the head of the Republic said.
More than 500 buildings or 10% of 5500, subject to repair, have already been capitally repaired in Ufa.
The chairman of the Russian Accounts Chamber Sergey Stepashin was satisfied by what he watched and was interested was the economy on the housing and communal tariffs noticeable after the capital repair of the houses, made one year ago. As the specialists explained, at present time saving of means amounts to 28%.
It is worth adding that the residents of the repaired buildings are happy because it is not just clear and neatly in their flats but warm too and this is the main thing.
