Bashkortostan and “TRANSNEFT” signed a cooperation agreement

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the President of JSC “TRANSNEFT” Nikolai Tokarev have signed a cooperation agreement between Republic of Bashkortostan and the JSC “TRANSNEFT” on October 27 in Moscow. The agreement is signed for the period of four years with the purpose of developing the economics of Bashkortostan, improving the prosperity of its population, strengthening the energy security of Russia and Bashkortostan, the public affairs service of the President RB reports.

The agreement is aimed at mutual benefit and at complex taking corporate and regional interests into account. The document is called to preserve the unity and integrity of management over oil-trunk pipelines and oil pipelines of Russia. Within the frames of cooperation “TRANSNEFT” will support the social projects, developed on the territory of Bashkortostan.

According to the document JSC “TRANSNEFT” will pay taxes to the consolidated budget of Bashkortostan for the sum of at least 850 million rubles, beginning from 2011.
