Bashkir bee-keepers will receive 24 million rubles as a state backing

Till the end of the year Bashkir bee-keepers will receive substantial state backing. The Ministry of agriculture RB confirmed this information.

About 24 million rubles will be allocated for development of the bee-keeping branch in total complexity: 10 million will be taken from the regional budget and 14 – from the federal exchequer. At that the means have to be spent till the end of the year. Specialists say the maintenance of every bee-family will cost 600 rubles on average.

At present time not every owner of a private auxiliary farming can afford to be busy with this traditional Bashkir business because rather solid sums are necessary for acquisition of bee-families, bee-gardens and inventory. The abovementioned financial support will let the bee-keepers to start their own business and this is just the first stage.

About 35 million rubles will be spent for support of bee-keeping in the region in 2012. The program of state backing is meant for three years within the frames of the agreement between the Ministry of agriculture of Russia and the Government of Bashkortostan, signed on September 3 in Ufa.
